Refund Policy
How refunds work for Semantix's paid plans, and what happens to your account after one.
Version 1.0Last updated
Effective 7 October 2026 · Version 1.0
The short version#
You have 14 days to change your mind. If you buy a paid plan and it isn't right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of your first payment and you get all of it back. You don't have to give a reason.
Paddle handles the money. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle takes the payment, sends the receipt, and pays the refund.
A refund takes nothing away from your work. Your account moves to the Free plan, and what you made stays where it is.
1. How to ask for a refund#
Any one of these works:
- At paddle.net. Look up your order with the email you paid with, and choose Request refund.
- From your receipt. The email Paddle sent when you paid links to help with your order.
- By writing to us at support@semantixstudio.com from the email on your account. We pass it to Paddle for you.
Paddle pays an approved refund back to the card or account you paid with, normally within 14 days. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
2. What the 14 days cover#
- Your first payment for a plan. The 14 days start on the day of that payment.
- Renewals. A plan renews every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Billing → Manage billing on this site, and you won't be charged again. The plan stays until the end of the month you have paid for. After the first 14 days, we don't refund the unused part of a month.
If the law where you live gives you more — a longer right to cancel, or a refund this page would not give — you have it. Nothing here takes away a right you have by law.
3. Your account after a refund#
The paid plan ends when the refund goes through, and the account moves to the Free plan:
- Your memories are kept. On Free, your agents reach the newest 1,000, and moving back to a paid plan makes all of them reachable again.
- Your tasks stay where they are. The first 10 keep running inside the Free plan's hours; the rest pause until you return.
- The Studio keeps working exactly as before. Your code, your projects, and the index on your computer never depended on a plan.
The same is true when a plan ends any other way: you cancel it, or a renewal payment fails and can't be collected.
4. When a refund can be refused#
Paddle, as the Merchant of Record, may decline a refund where it sees fraud or refund abuse — for example, buying and refunding the same plan again and again. That rule is Paddle's, from Paddle's refund policy and the Paddle Buyer Terms, which also apply to your purchase.
5. Chargebacks#
If you dispute a payment with your bank instead of asking for a refund, the plan ends the same way it does after a refund. Asking us or Paddle first is faster for you, and it reaches the same place.
6. Talk to us#
Questions about a payment or a refund go to support@semantixstudio.com.
